4. Network to promote their business
5. Follow up successfully and close the sale
 
 
  At the completion of this five-part program, participants will have basic knowledge of how to develop a marketing plan that will chart the course of their first (or next) year in business; a multipurpose one-sheet that they can use as a leave-behind when contacting prospects or add to their website and refer customers to; a well-defined elevator speech for making contacts through networking and knowledge of how to best use networking for their purposes; a press release announcing the opening of their business or another promotional event; and a follow-up plan for meeting their customer-conversion goals.
